The Zhongshan "Civilized Dining with Serving Spoons and Chopsticks" campaign, co-sponsored by the Zhongshan Civilization Office, Zhongshan Bureau of Commerce, Zhongshan Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau, Zhongshan Administration for Market Regulation and assisted by Zhongshan Broadcasting & Television Station, kicked off at PEM on July 19.
On the opening day, leaders of more than 40 well-known restaurants also came to the site, and representatives of 10 restaurants came to the stage to accept the gift of "serving chopsticks". Ms Mai Huifan, managing director of Harbour City Seafood Restaurant, the president unit of the Zhongshan Dining Industry Association, took the stage to read out a proposal and advocate for Zhongshan's food industry to jointly implement the "Civilized Dining with Serving Spoons and Chopsticks" movement to help citizens gradually form civilized dining habits.
This campaign will last until October.
