The 2024 Greater Bay Area (GBA) Flower Show is held concurrently at Shenzhen Bijiashan Park (Sports Park), Lianhuashan Park and Xiangmihu Flower Wonderland from March 23 to April 1.
Domestic and international garden flower enterprises, colleges and universities, e-commerce companies, as well as Hong Kong, Macao, the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, Guangzhou, Zhongshan and Shenzhen were invited to participate in the show. The exhibits cover garden landscaping, artistic flower arrangement, and horticultural display.
Zhongshan's exhibition area won the gold award of garden art and the environmental protection concept award.
The Zhongshan exhibition area was inspired by Wuguishan Mountains and Qijiang River. An eco-green island is created in accordance with the shape of Wuguishan Mountains, adorned with flowers, to highlight the vitality of Zhongshan. Winding garden paths are constructed with landscape gravel, representing the meandering Qijiang River that flows through the city and the long-lasting Xiangshan culture.
