Chairman Qiu Shuhong of CPPCC Zhongshan Committee called for Macau’s help to co-host the activities celebrating the 150th anniversary of the birth of Sun Yat-sen during his visit to Macau where he held a seminar with some of the members of CPPCC Zhongshan Committee and paid an official call to Director Fu Tiesheng of Coordination Department of the Liaison office of the Central People’s Government in the Macau Special Administrative Region and President Li Peilin of Chinese Cultural Exchange Association in Macau.

During the seminar, Qiu introduced the preparation work Zhongshan has made to honor Sun's contribution to national independence, social advancement and people's happiness. Qiu stressed that Macau is an important stop in Dr. Sun’s revolutionary journey, so it is hoped that Macau could join hands with ZS to mark the coming 150th anniversary.
