The 2024 Spring Festival Xiangshan Culture Series held the second activity at the Camphor Park in Guinan Village, Wuguishan District on February 18, the ninth day of the first lunar month.
The activity began with a special Baikoulian Folk Song show, followed by a puppet show based on Cantonese opera Princess Cheung Ping.
The organizers also invited Zhong Guojian, the representative inheritor of Xiaolan Paper-cutting, to offer a paper-cutting class to the audience. Meanwhile, a performance showcasing the production process and skills of Wuguishan Agilawood took place on the stage.
A bazaar with stalls for Changmingshui Salted Honey, Xiaolan Paper-cutting and other special items in Zhongshan was also set up to create a strong Spring Festival atmosphere for residents and tourists.
