The Shagangxu Spring Festival Flower Fair in East District opened on January 19.
This year's flower fair covers an area of about 10,000 square meters, with over 90 stalls selling plants and special goods for the Spring Festival.
The flower fair is open from 8 am to 10 pm from January 19 to 27, and 8 am to 12 pm on January 28 (Chinese New Year's Eve).
The main entrance is set in the Shagangxu Market beside Kanghua Road, and the fair is divided into four zones.
Zone A mainly sells orange trees, small pots of flowers and etc. Zones B and C offer New Year plants and goods, such as moth orchids, bonsai, fresh flowers, Spring Festival couplets, paper cuttings, crispy triangles and deep fried sesame balls. Zone D sells food.
The Shagangxu Spring Festival Flower Fair is a tradition with a history of almost 30 years in Zhongshan.
