On the morning of June 15, shipments of 63 packages containing packing tape, stretch film and other commodities completed export clearance through the Customs Cross-border E-commerce Export Unified System, and were successfully released from Zhongshan Bonded Logistics Center to Hong Kong via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.
Zhang Long, executive director of East Changer Storage, who is also in charge of the transportation of his company's products, said that this batch of goods could reach Hong Kong Airport in about 3 hours via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.
This marks the official start of the businesses in the Zhongshan Cross-border E-commerce Pilot Zone, which is the first to enjoy policy dividends among the 7 new cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zones in Guangdong Province this year.
At present, the Zhongshan pilot zone will first carry out "Cross-Border E-commerce Export" (supervision code: 9610), and then promote "Bonded Cross-border E-commerce Import" (supervision code: 1210) and other businesses.
