Another industrial park renovation project in Gangkou Town, the 131 Smart Port industrial center, began construction on March 20 and is planned to open in 2025. With a total investment of 130 million yuan, it will be built into a new-type sci-tech innovation park that integrates scientific R&D, maker spaces, modern trade and cultural creativity.

Some 43,000 square meters of standard workshops will be constructed in two phases. The project is expected to achieve an annual production value of approximately 50 million yuan at its full capacity.

Currently, the industrial center has attracted six enterprises that have an intention to settle in from Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Zhongshan and others.

The 131 Smart Port is located on Xinggang Middle Road. Its architectural design not only meets the production needs but also helps improve the urban image of Gangkou Town.
