Yesterday morning, it was found that quite a few workers were constructing a two-meter-wide greenway along Dongyuan Road. It is said that the total length of greenways in urban area being constructing reaches 812 meters.
It is learned from the Municipal Construction Bureau, the horizontal layout of greenways in urban area consists of three types, including the layout following current both sides of footpath, along roads and along current rivers. According to the constructed schedule, the construction of centre urban greenway is divided into three periods, reaching the total length of 76.5 kilometers. Moreover, it will be completed for 65 kilometers this year, among 39 kilometers of that will be constructed before June 30.Besides, 26 kilometers of medium term will be planed to finish this year as well. However, the tentative budget of the short term and medium term of greenway projects are estimated to reach approximately 60 million yuan. And the further term, 11.6 kilometers, will be united to the constructing of related road reconstruction projects.
