Wulan Village in Huangpu Town plans to invest more than 91 million yuan in the next three years to complete the construction of a characteristic boutique village. The construction work includes the renovation of several roads, green squares, and public infrastructure in the village.
At present, renovation of the Wulan Primary School has been completed. Also, the renovation of Wulan Road has been finished, and street lamps are installed. The waste transfer station in Wulan Village is currently under construction and will be completed before the Spring Festival of 2020. In addition, after the 2020 Spring Festival, the beautification and greening project on both riverbanks in the Village will begin. Plans also call for the bridges in the village to be renovated.
"Our school has become bigger and prettier," said Huang Deye, principal of Wulan Primary School in Huangpu Town. "After the renovation, our school can accommodate up to 18 classes. It also has a standard 200-meter playground now."
