On June 18, sun blazed overhead. The continuous abundance of sunshine and rain had ripened the golden stalks of rice early in Yakou Village, Nanlang Town.
July is the transition period between the early rice season and the second rice season. As the rice matures, Nanlang's summer harvest will officially begin in another two weeks. [Photos by Sun Junjun]
