Zhongshan recently released the ranking of water quality of towns and districts for the second quarter of 2022. The top five areas regarding water quality are Wuguishan District, Minzhong District, Shenwan Town, Sanjiao Town and Tanzhou Town.
Compared with Q1, three towns/districts made obvious improvements in water quality, including Shenwan Town, Sanxiang Town and Torch Development Zone.
Compared with Q2 of last year, the areas with the greatest improvement in surface water quality are Wuguishan District, Nanlang Town and Sanxiang Town.
At present, Zhongshan has established an integrated water environment management platform and set up 259 automatic water quality monitoring facilities on rivers running outside the city, key polluted rivers, main rivers and drinking water sources.
