The awarding ceremony of the 2010 Sun Yat-sen Culture and Arts Prize & the evening party of Sun Yat-sen Cultural Week were held in Zhongshan Culture and Arts Center on the evening of Nov. 13th, presenting awards to winners whose works of provincial or above level. The great achievements have been made in literature and arts due to rich cultural background in Zhongshan.

The prize winners this year collectively proposed to establish “Reward Funds for Zhongshan Campus Literature and Arts Creation” by donating 10% of the rewards to encourage young people in the campus and support local arts creation. The evening party also presented the 2010 “Sun Yat-sen Research Scholarship” to the first prize winner Zhang Jinchao, a doctor student of Zhongshan University, and the second prize winner Wang Jue, a master of Renming University.
