2016 marks the 150 birthday of Mr. Sun Yat-sen. To honor the great man, the work of turning Sun Yat-sen's Former Residence into a 5 A tourist spot is underway. Our correspondent learned from Zhongshan Bureau of Tourism and related departments that the renovation project highlights five sections including Sun Yat-sen's Former Residence, ancient Cuiheng Village, Zhongshan Studio City, the 1911 Revolution Memorial Park, and Litoujian Mountain.

New Cuiheng Village and Yakou Village are also included in the tourist spot. The construction is underway and is expected to be completed before National Day holiday. After completion, tourists will be able to enjoy scenery of Lanxi River, ancient Cuiheng Village, to go to the 1911 Revolution Memorial Park to honor martyrs, and to experience customs of different countries in Zhongshan Studio City. After walking through Litoujian Mountain, tourists can see ancestral tombs of Sun family and tomb of Lu Haodong. Standing on top of the mountain, tourists can have a bird's eye view of the area.
