The Zhongshan Tsuihang New District Branch of China Construction Bank on May 20 was announced as part of Phase I of the Technology and Finance Town project of THND. This is the second banking institution and the first "carbon neutral" enterprise in the district.
The same day, the China Emissions Exchange issued a "carbon neutrality" certificate to the branch, marking the official opening of the first "Zero Carbon Branch" in Chinese banking industry.
The branch has set up such functional areas as the "GBA Government Affairs Service Area" and "Cash Service Area". There is also a professional service team to meet various financial service needs of customers. The new branch will feature services for the intelligent manufacturing industry and provide exclusive policy packages for advanced manufacturing enterprises in THND.
In addition to CCB, Industrial Bank and Zhongshan Rural Commercial Bank are currently in the process of site selection and plan to set up new branches within THND this year. In the future, THND will introduce more high-level financial service institutions.
