The E-Bright Innovation Industry Manufacturing Base invested by Shenzhen-based company E-Bright and the Phase II project of Gochinaron Electronics Co were topped out in Zhongshan's Cuiheng New District on June 12.

Located in the South China Modern TCM Park, the 25.51-mu (about 1.7 hectares) E-Bright project involves a 500 million yuan investment. It will house a manufacturing base for medical aesthetic light source products, optical components and semiconductor packaging devices, a technical R&D center (including offices, labs and testing facilities), and other supporting facilities.It is slated to commence operations later this year, with an estimated annual output value exceeding 300 million yuan.

The Gochinaron Phase II project, covering 11,759.97 square meters, includes a 4-story factory building and is scheduled to start production in October this year. It will be built into a benchmark digital manufacturing facility with such devices as automatic lamination lines, auto-drilling machines and smart production lines. Its designed production capacity is 1.2 million square meters per year.
