The Zhongshan People's Government on September 6 signed a strategic cooperation agreement on financial support for rural revitalization with the Guangdong Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China (ABC). Both sides will deepen mutual cooperation to boost the rural revitalization strategy.
According to the agreement, ABC Guangdong Branch will extend Zhongshan a total credit of 50 billion yuan over the next 5 years to give full support to such key areas as the industrial upgrading in villages and towns, the development of modern agricultural industries, eco-friendly and livable village construction, inclusive finance, and digital village building.
At the ceremony, ABC Guangdong Branch also signed cooperation agreements with the Sanjiao Town People's Government and the Zhongshan Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, as well as with core agricultural industry chain enterprises including Zhongshan Xingzhong Group, ZhongShan FoodStuffs Imp & Exp Co Ltd and Guangdong Yuehai Feeds Group.
