The opening ceremony of the Youth Career Expo 2024 and the departure ceremony for the 47th WorldSkills Competition Macao Delegation took place recently. He Zitian, a student from Zhongshan Technician College, won first place in the qualification trials and will represent Macao, China in the Electrical Installations event of the 47th World Skills Competition in September this year.
In 2018, He Zitian enrolled in the Department of Household Appliances at Zhongshan Technician College, majoring in refrigeration equipment application and maintenance. Due to his strong interest in electronic and electrical majors, he joined the electrical installations team.
"This is my second time participating in the WorldSkills Competition trials. I hope to bring glory to my country and my college by achieving good results," said He Zitian.
"Our students have been on the WorldSkills Competition stage for five consecutive years, competing with contestants from all over the world. They had won one gold and two silver medals in addition to one excellence award," said a spokesman of Zhongshan Technician College.
