The Greater Bay Area Communication Field Research Station of the School of Journalism & Communication, Guangzhou University was unveiled in Tanggan Village in Zhongshan's Sanxiang Town on March 10.
It is the first of its kind established by the GU in the Greater Bay Area to promote communication research and practice in the GBA through university-government cooperation as well as to inject academic strength into rural revitalization.
The station plans to create a complete training system by integrating the cultivation of undergraduates, postgraduates, PhDs and postdoctoral experts with field investigations. For example, postgraduates and PhDs are required to delve into the local areas to find topics for their papers and complete their academic research through long-term investigations.
