With the theme "Feeling for Natural Landscapes", the Lin Zaiyuan Chinese Painting Exhibition opened on November 23 at the Zhongshan Museum and will run through December 1. Over 100 Chinese paintings by Lin Zaiyuan, a Chinese Canadian Lingnan-style painter whose native place is Zhongshan, are on display.

In the early 1960s, Lin Zaiyuan studied painting under Lin Jieru. He was the only person from Zhongshan admitted to the Department of Chinese Painting at Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1972, where he studied painting under renowned professors such as Guan Shanyue, Li Xiongcai, Chen Jinzhang, Liang Shixiong, Liu Jirong and Chen Zhangji.
