Guishan High School of Zhongshan celebrated its 263rd birthday
on December 18. The 11th Award Ceremony of Chen Zhuolin Couple Education Fund
and the Alumni Report Meeting were held on the same day.
Guishan
High School's Chen Zhuolin Couple Education Foundation was established by Chen
Zhuolin, board chairman of Agile Group Holding Co Ltd, and his wife with a
donation of 10 million yuan.
In 2019, the foundation issued a
total reward of 919,300 yuan, including various scholarship funds, teaching
funds and student subsidies.
Over the past 11 years, the
foundation has awarded 3,978 teachers and 2,050 students, with a total reward of
5,649,790 yuan. It has also subsidized 2,030 poverty-stricken students and 20
teaching staff with financial difficulties, with a total subsidy of 2,553,250
yuan.
