The Zhongshan women's basketball team with 10 players won the bronze medal in the women's basketball event of the 2023 Special Olympics World Summer Games representing China on June 24.

The Special Olympics took place from June 12 to 27 in Berlin, Germany, with the participation of over 7,000 athletes and over 20,000 volunteers from 190 member organizations across 26 events. This is the tenth time that China joined the games.

A total of 11 countries participated in the women's basketball event. China played in five placement matches and three final matches.
