Zhongshan's East District has recently launched family doctor service packages. Permanent residents in East District choose from the free package and the paid package. The paid package is the first of its kind in Zhongshan.
Free package users can enjoy such services as health file establishing, health education guidance, medication guidance, postpartum housecall, neonate housecall and etc within the contract year.
There are three types of paid package, including the Medical Treatment package, Chronic Disease Green Channel package, and TCM Preventive Treatment package. Those using the Medical Treatment package can enjoy medical fee exemption service for 12 times within the contract year at the community-based health service centers and subordinate stations.
The family doctor team in East District consists of consultants from the Zhongshan People's Hospital, Boai Hospital and Zhongshan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as physicians, nurses, nutritionists and family doctor assistants from the East District Community Health Service Center.
