The bridge over the Gangkou River along the northside road of the Zhongshan OCT Harbour Joy Land park was connected early on April 14.

With a total length of 150 meters, the bridge design draws inspiration from a flying bird spreading its wings.

The northside road stretches from Qifeng Road in the west to Xinggang South Road in the east, with a design speed of 40 km/h. The two-way four-lane road, 1.06 kilometers in length, is expected to open to traffic in June.

Upon completion, the road will reducetravel time between the two sides of the Gangkou River to 3 minutes, benefiting over 50,000 residents in 12 nearby communities.
